Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults (SOVA)
This excellent course provides learners with the underpinning knowledge to support organisations in their commitment and legal obligations to safeguard vulnerable adults. It has been developed using Government guidance including the “No Secretes” 2000 documents and is suitable for employees; volunteers; supervisors; managers etc. within health and social care. It is also ideal for anyone who requires refreshing their knowledge on safeguarding vulnerable adults.
The course covers:
- Introduction to abuse in health and social care;
- The types of abuse;
- Alerting and reporting suspected abuse.
