Health and Safety/Fire risk assessments for GP practice

Providing Health and Safety and Fire risk assessments for a GP practice, Roughwood are pleased to announce that we have secured a contract to deliver risk assessments and develop policies and safety systems for a busy Lancashire GP practice.

Members of our Safety Team have a combination of NHS; Private healthcare, fire safety and training backgrounds which will help support the practice in understanding their needs and bring together clinical and non-clinical safety.

Andy Wood, Roughwood`s Director says: “the practice is going through a period of change and have been looking for a provider with the right background to support them. We will be able to utilise our practical experience in healthcare which is important not only to end users but also to Regulators.”

By acting as their `Competent Person`, Roughwood are now overseeing the health and safety & fire risk assessments, integrating health and safety into everyday business.  We will be completing audits, policy development and risk management systems which will be monitored throughout the year by our professional and experienced Safety team maintaining staff and patient safety.

We will also be working closely with their stakeholders (e.g. Facilities Management; Building Contractor) and be their link in promoting a positive safety culture.
